Experience:3+ years

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1.Experience developing modular front-end components using XHTML,CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON and
micro formats.
2.Understanding of the difference between an interface, a class and anobject and comprehension of
cascaded inheritance, prototype based inheritance etc.
3. Knowledge of what the following have in common: trident, gecko andwebkit.
4. Created good abstractions that actually get reused.
5. Considerable ability to be hard headed about markup quality.
6. That you've pushed the envelope in a similar role on a website with >
100 different page layouts.
7. That you've been doing this sort of role for at least the last 3 years.
8. That Photoshop, Flash, Flex and Silverlight are just some of the things
you've tried on your road to us.
Skills Required
1. Work with all kinds of crazy developers, obsessive Business Analystsand demanding clients to
design and build new features.
2. Write good JavaScript code from scratch.
3. Produce clean, semantic HTML and CSS, agonizing along the way for
pixel perfection.
4. Ensure cross-browser compatibility.
5. Make things shrink, twist, rotate, run across the page and fade(tastefully).
6. Build simple, blindingly simple interfaces and believe that writingmaintainable CSS goes beyond
7. Believe that disabled and visually challenged users have a right to usethe web as easily as
everyone else.
8. You know how to balance the optimization of your own individualproductivity with that of the
team as a whole.
9. You're good at drawing pictures that effectively communicate your ideas and you've met bugs,
taken them on and they now owe you money.
10. You believe that Agile and UI development can coexist.
